Jeffery Campbell Fanatic!

Ok ladies, this is my love letter to the one and only Jeffery Campbell! Did you ever dream about a shoe? I mean constantly replaying all the different varieties of outfit choices with the shoe. It speaks to you! It draws you in, to the point of overly obsessed! A great shoe offers affordability, accountability, and oh yeah variety!

I just love his kick ass high platforms, which are a staple in any JC girl closet. His shoes are definite a conversation starter because of his brainy choice of futuristic patterns, bold colors and contrasting fabrics which are ever evolving.

No matter how outrageous you may rank on the style meter (1 being Kim Kardashian and 10 being Lady GaGa) J.C offers a little mix for everyone!

Every now and again and again a new shoe from Jeffery Campbell starts to call me. After hunting every website for the best deal, I finally give into the urge of temptation and succumb to the world of Jeffery! For instance, my latest craze the “sta8up” the invisible heal 5inch platform just reads radiates sexiness.

Armed with a bold lip a simple cocktail dress, club gear or destroyed denim, in just a split second J.C’s platform can transcend you into a glamazon!  I so adore how his team really thinks about his demographic, pulling design ideas from the everyday girl which is you and I.

Well I wanted to keep it short girlies in a nut shell. I so hate being long winded…haha! However, for more information about his shoes and retailers please visit his website

"Charlie Mack" 2012 Party 4 Peace 2nd Annual Fashion Show Coverage
By: Akia Jones

A bevy of Black Hollywood where out in the City of Brotherly Love this past weekend in support to encourage non-violence amongst youth in Philadelphia.

Headlined by Blockbuster actor and Overbrook native Will Smith, alongside son Jayden “Charlie Mack Party for Peace” 3 day jam-packed events consisted of a formal dinner, a talented teen competition, comedy show and fashion show (which this“fabbeasta” was in attendance).

Philly native Charles “Charlie Mack” Alston is a producer/ entrepreneur who is most creditably known for producing the 2006 film “ATL” and being longtime friend/aide to Will Smith amongst other notoriety.
Hosted by actress Kyla Pratt and the outspoken “What’s the tea”, “Mutha Knows” from Philly’s Power 99 Morning Show, the show was star-studded as much as entertaining.
For a minor 30 bucks, Philly fans got a chance to mingle and great with celebs “Lil Mama”(rapper) , Tamala Jones(Booty Call), Sheree Whitfield (Real Housewives’ of Atlanta), Fazion Love(Friday) and Philly’s boxing champ Bernard Hopkins amongst others.  This year’s designs featured styles from Purple Planes, Cha Cha, Passion Arts, LOADB and Carmente, all expressing a fashion love story of bold prints, bright colors, polyester, chiffon, leather and lace.

With celebs seated on both sides of the runway, they seemed in ahh of the designer’s innovative choice of fabrics, classic poised looks, funky psychedelic patterns, evening wear and edgy street designs. This year’s fashion show definitely solidified, not only that up incoming Philly designers are talented but are earning their spot in global fashion's stratosphere.
Styled by Gina Murayoshi, all the models where great, making sure they brought the ferocity as they sashayed, pelted and twirled down the runway, doing their best persona of Ms. Naomi Campbell’s catwalk inside South Philly’s esteemed Yesha Hall.
Fabbeasta would like to give a special thanks to Rachael McRae of the Belle Agency and Charlie Mack and production staff. For more details about this year's past events, celebrity appearances and a full list of Mr Charles"Charlie Mack"Alston credentials please click on the link below.

Night Out With the BFF

Hey guys its me and the bestie down Northern Liberties (ultra hip & trendy hangout for any talented young professional) on July 4th dining at PYT. www.pytphilly.com/ The weather was great, the service was good and convo was light and entertaining. Dressed to channel Katy Perry's hit song "Firework"(fitting for the occasion) I opted for a breezy hot pink and polka dot short ($15.80 Forever21) paired with a neon yellow (Garage $9.80) bandeau top which is one of this seasons hottest trends. I threw on some Caribbean inspired earrings, chunky rings and glittery sandals to complete my summer fun look!
MY girl, on the other hand dressed in a funky black and white summer time ensemble mixing in a chunky chain and strappy gladiator sandals to finish the look.
